Sean - you'll have so much fun in college and you will meet many new faces. You have Mom and Dad close, and you have Katie even closer. You can always try to bug mom for a home-cooked meal on Sunday night. It's a quick drive.
Just be who you are - there will be plenty of kids who are in nearly the same situation, and you know what you're doing or aspiring to do - so you're already in a better situation. Call me whenever you want. I know there are tons of things to do in the upcoming weeks as school starts, so if you have some free time, call.
Get your books, but try to have fun and soak it in as much as possible.
